Scope

This policy applies to jackwoollams.com and public portfolio content published by Jack Woollams. It is written for a simple public portfolio: there are no public user accounts, payments, subscriptions, newsletter signup, CRM capture, retargeting pixels, or public contact form.

Backend services used to operate or maintain the site are for Jack's own use only and are not public services.

Personal information collected

The site may collect or receive limited personal information in these situations:

• Direct contact: if you email Jack or connect on LinkedIn, your name, contact details, message content, and related correspondence may be received.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare may collect website usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser information, referral source, interaction events, and similar technical data.
• Hosting and security logs: Cloudflare and hosting infrastructure may process request logs, IP addresses, user-agent strings, timestamps, and security events to operate and protect the site.

How information is used

Information is used only for practical site and communication needs:

• responding to direct enquiries;
• maintaining a record of professional correspondence;
• understanding aggregate website usage and content performance;
• maintaining site security, availability, and reliability;
• complying with applicable legal obligations.

Analytics and cookies

The site may use Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare analytics or security services. These services may use cookies, similar technologies, or server-side request data to provide analytics, performance, and security reporting.

Analytics is used to understand aggregate site usage. It is not used for a newsletter, CRM, retargeting, behavioural advertising, or selling personal information.

Disclosure

Personal information is not sold. Limited information may be processed by service providers that support the site, including Cloudflare, Google Analytics, hosting, email, and LinkedIn if you choose to use LinkedIn.

Some providers may process or store information outside Australia. Where that occurs, the handling of information is governed by the provider's own terms, privacy settings, and security controls.

Public-safe demos

Portfolio demos use synthetic, public-safe examples only. They are not connected to real client, employer, government, production, or internal operational data.

Security and retention

Reasonable technical and organisational steps are used to protect site information, including secure hosting, HTTPS, security headers, and limited public collection points.

Direct correspondence is retained only for as long as it is reasonably needed for professional, administrative, security, or legal purposes. Analytics and hosting logs are retained according to the relevant provider settings.

Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held about you by emailing [email protected]. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, technical, or record retention requirements.
